Simply have a catch approved in The Export NZ Fishing Competition between December 1st 2024 and May 31st 2025, and you and a mate could spend seven nights fishing in the tropical paradise of Niue! The prize includes return flights from Auckland to Niue, seven nights of luxurious accommodation, three days on the water, and exciting sightseeing tours to discover the island's natural beauty. You'll be staying in a deluxe clifftop room at the Scenic Matavai Resort, where panoramic ocean views set the stage for an action-packed getaway. The prize provides a total of three epic day trips: two fishing or spearfishing charters in the deep blue waters surrounding Niue, plus an exciting dive or snorkel trip to explore the vibrant outer reef.

Throughout the 24/25 comp season, we have a fantastic pool of fishing gear to give away thanks to our awesome sponsor Shimano. Every quarter, two lucky anglers will win a Shimano rod, reel and line combo as well as branded apparel. This is randomly drawn and not based on the size of your catch.
We also encourage anglers to take a photo of themselves with their catches to submit with their entries. Any great photos we receive might just be rewarded with bonus prizes including bags, filleting knives, scissors, lures and a heap of other sexy Shimano merch.
