The Export NZ Fishing Competition

Welcome to the 2026-2027 Season!

The Export NZ Fishing Competition is a nationwide, measure-based, online fishing competition where anglers can participate in sustainable fishing to catch New Zealand's main inshore species. The competition empowers you, the angler, to determine the fate of your catch, releasing the fish if you wish or taking it home to feed friends and family - it's your choice.

Entry is free thanks to Export, and there are monthly challenges, bonus draws, and fresh ways to win throughout the season. The Export NZ Fishing Competition celebrates and rewards participation, not just the biggest catches - you don't have to be the best angler to belong here!
